Jinxed myself
Yesterday I was feeling all awesome and successful at the one month post-op mark!! Yay me!
Then I ate grilled salmon for dinner that was a bit too dry. And I threw up. First time since surgery. That's what I get for being all proud of myself :P
Then I felt wretched for a few hours, ate 4 crackers to calm my tummy, and fell asleep without my last meal, enough water, or my last vitamins.
But this morning I still woke up and got my butt to the gym for 60 minutes on the treadmill! We fall so we can pick ourselves back up, eh?

Sorry to hear about the salmon incident. I know for me at 1 month out, any protein more than likely had to have sauce or something to be less dry. I wanted to be safe though and added mild salsa to things to avoid extra calories. But at this point still, we arent eating much. I'm weird (I think I just mentioned that I'm weird in another post today, lol!) but I like dijon mustard with salmon. Whatever works, right?
You rock though gurl, I love hearing about your WL journey. Eye on the prize, whoo hoo!!!

WWBD?
Yikes. I have yet to vomit since surgery, but I have felt positively stuffed and wretched after shoveling too much food down my pie hole.
I am addicted to Rojo's Avocado and Tomatillo salsa. I put it on everything - fish, chicken, turkey, beef - to add moisture and flavor to food. Very few calories and lots of flavor.
