When did you have labs done after surgery

I have my 6 month post op apt on Friday, I am curious about my vitamin levels. Since I am taking all of these pills everyday I want to know if they are doing there job. My surgeon office is not too concern about my lab work and wont draw them until a year. I think I am going to go my personal doctor and have her request them. What was your experience in having labs done.

Every quarter for the first year and annually after that. Yeah, I'd want them run to see if you need to tweak anything.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

I'm getting them drawn at my three month appointment at the end of this month. I would definitely have them done sooner. If you're lacking in something, I'd want to know before a year went by!

I'll have mine drawn at 3 months after and again if something comes up.

Surgery will be hopefully in October or November 2014, with Dr. Megan Gilmore

Mine were drawn at 3 months and 6 months. I have had to tweak vitamin b1 and vitamin d, so those will be rechecked in a few weeks, otherwise next one is at a year.
