I'm drinking plain water.  Right now!  No nausea!  It's been about 4.5 months and this feels so huge.  It was like the last step in my healing process and I'm so happy to be able to put aside the artificial drink mixes!

I'm so glad for you!  Is this problem pretty common?  Just wondering if I will have the same trouble.

I know that I've read several on here that have experienced it, so I knew I wasn't "alone" in it, but I'm not sure it's common, either.  I hadn't heard of it until I experienced it and asked.  haha

Great news about the water.

I have been able to drink plain water from day one. I have had no problems with water. I target 100ounces daily.

Yaaaay for you getting back to the plain stuff.  I had trouble with them from day one with the after taste or the tartness. And plain water simply hurt to have to drink so much. Had my Dr check me out for any kinks and all is well. He did give me something for nausea though. Now if I could only beat this constipation thing....

Wooooo hooooo congrats....

Are you just able to drink it without nausea ...or are you enjoying it also .... I've had no nausea but I can't stand water.... so I'm wondering will I like it again some day???

This is wonderful. I'm glad it resolved for you.  It gives me hope it will change for me as well.

I still struggle with drinking water, but I've started drinking more teas, and I am finally getting my 64 ounces per day.

best wishes,

Carol

Woo!  That's great!

I drink water whenever I'm out but tend to drink crystal light when I'm at home.  Which is strange.  I have been making it weaker and weaker.. It's like I have less of a taste for it post-op than I did pre-op.  I should just make the switch entirely.
