Eating slow makes a difference
I am 8 months out have not lost any weight in awhile, because my portion sizes have become to large and i make bad choices more than i should. I was pretty convinced i had no restriction left. Today after my curves work out i went to chic fil and got the 4 piece grill nuggets kids meal with a fruit cup. I looked at those nuggets and said that is not much i better eat them slow to make it last. So i cut each nugget in half chewed 20/40 times and low and behold i am stuffed can not have even one bite of the fruit. I am shocked this has made a big impact on me i am definitely going to start counting chews and slowing down.
have a good weekend everyon
This is a great reminder!
It takes our bodies time to feel full (up to 30 minutes), so eating slowly increases the chance that we'll feel full before we've eaten everything in sight :D

I've been feeling the same way recently. It's been worse since I stopped taking my medication, since one of it's side effects was a loss of appetite. I've gained weight, with the combination of lack of exercise, going off my medication, and a bad diet. I was convinced that I'd either stretched my stomach back out, or that there was a leak. I try to slow down when I eat, but I just keep shoving food in. I also drink when I eat, which makes things worse.
It's like I've reverted back to my old lifestyle, but I can feel the resistance kick in. I just need to slow down, and make better choices.
Thanks for posting that. I'm almost 9 weeks out and some bad habits are starting to slip back in, including eating too fast.
