Waiting rooms

So I'm sitting in my dentist office and what do they have on there tv but the cooking channel my mouth is watering, but I don't want to eat any of it. Pretty proud of myself. 

I didn't realize how dominant food (and unhealthy food) was in this culture until I was preparing for and recovering from this surgery.  My life is different now, but I still live in the big food culture.  

It was torture at the gym while I was on full liquids. Every channel was on a food show, interrupted by commercials for Pizza Hut. I knew I was sick of protein shakes when even Taco Bell looked appetizing. I mean, this was at the gym!! What gives!?

Yeah you know your hungry if Taco Bell looks good. I'm so happy that I had my surgery to help control my wanting for bad food "fast food" I finally feel like I'm in control and nothing is worth it to make me fail. 

This used to annoy me about the TV at the gym.  I'm so much happier running outside than on the treadmill!

And, omg, people post so much food crap on Facebook! 

Too funny. I sat in the recliner and watched cooking shows the first week post op. :-)
