I'm back from my travels

Hi All,

I just got back from my month in New Zealand and Australia.  I had a wonderful time.  What fascinating countries, with such diverse landscapes and flora and fauna.  It was very special.

I walked sooo much.  Several days I walked over 7 miles - which is amazing for me, as I've never been a walker.  And the best news is I only gained 4 pounds, and that may be mostly water weight.  Usually I gain 2 pounds per week while cruising so this is a great improvement.  I tried to stick to plan for most of the day and allowed myself to splurge for dinners.  Combined with the high activity, it seems to have worked out well.

One day I was walking the track on the cruise ship, when someone called me "the healthy person."  As someone who has been morbidly obese, that meant a lot to me.

I missed you all.  Let me know what new?

best wishes,

Carol
