Hollow armpits???

Maybe it's just me, but I've got to ask a question of the ladies (sorry guys) -- Have any of you experience hollow armpits?  Since losing weight, I find I have hollow armpits??!!!  Whenever I raise my arm to shave, it caves in and makes it almost impossible to shave!!!  I suppose this could be a "wow" moment, b/c at nearly 400lbs there was a huge fat pad there that made shaving easy!  Now its just flesh & bone, literally. Any once else suffer with this, LOL ??

I'm just 4 weeks out today, but I understand what you're saying. Even if you're the only person out there with hollow armpits (and I'm sure you're not) if you're having trouble shaving, get a Norel electric shaver, they work over any terrain.LOL Good luck!  Holly 

This just happened to me this week.  I just kept rubbing my armpits it felt so weird.  Just had to add me 2 cents. jennifer

Yep i have this too.   I have cut the heck out of em too.   Try using nair, it's much better. Hugs Linda

all of my life i have wanted those "hollow" armpits that the skinny girls had.  but i have to say, even when i was 135# i still had a fat arm pit. lol.  i hope one day i have a hollow arm pit.  and i'll be lucky because i only have like six hairs under there. CONGRATS TO ALL.

Hi, I also have hollow armpits. I was going to have a mammagram the other day so I had DH help me and make sure I got all the hair. I sue an Intuition razor by Schick. It works great on your legs too. You don't have to lather up with shaving cream first. I love it. It worked great for me when I was MO and I still love it. 

Cutting your armpits while shaving - some have posted - I wonder if that could be do to excess skin?  If so complain to your doctor...it might just be a reason for ps according to a PS doctor I heard at OH seminar in Fairfield...

It's definately not just you because I have the same thing.  It is aggrivating because i nick myself all the time when I shave.  GRRRRR  the price we pay for being losers. tina
