What is the Christmas Card List?

Ok, to sum it up, you email your address and phone number to....dragons1Beast here on OH. Just look for her post about the Christmas Card list. Be sure to include the email address where you want her to email the list to you at. Then it's totally up to you if you send a christmas card to everyone on the list, or just to who you know. Then you sit back and watch the cards start rolling in. It's a great feeling to get so dang many cards!  Hope that answers the question for those who didnt know!

Hey MoM...Thanks for clearing that up for those who didn't know.... I was under the impression though if you signed up then you committed to send to all on the list..Not just the ones you know. Last year I sent out over 100 and probably only received 1/2 back, which was disappointing to me. I guess that would explain it then....

You did right....you are supposed to send to everyone, otherwise why get involved with it? It isn't really fair or right to pick and choose who to send to....I sent to everyone last year too....I couldn't imagine getting cards from people and not sending one to them.

This is sooooo much fun!!! I did it last year and sent out over 75 cards. As my cards were rolling in my kids would ask, "mom, who is so and so??" I told them it was someone from my wls group. By Christmas we had so many many cards - my kids all thought that it was sooo neat. I remember one card that was from Hawaii and they make really cool cards there!!!  This is so worth doing!!!! How cool is it, to spend .39 stamp and bless someone's holiday.

Personally I think that sucks, its like sending out Valentines in the 2nd grade and not getting one back from everyone.  If you committ to sending cards it should be to everyone, otherwise collect your friends addresses and just send to each other personally.  Its either all or nothing with me, we need to clarify on this otherwise I am out. I agree It should be all people on the list not just pick and choose who you want if it isn't all or nothing you can pull my name please clarify!!

I would have to say I agree with the consensus, last year was my first year and I sent to everyone on the list and I had a ball getting cards from everyone I did get cards from.  But, I think if you are going to put your name on the list, you should be sending out to everyone on the list as well, just my 2 cents worth.
