Everyone...get a grip!

Are there cliques here?  Yep, you bet.  Anyone who denies that is a member of a clique  :D 

Are there people here who can't afford the Christmas card exchange?  Yep, you bet.  And to mock them because they can't afford it is pretty damned declasse.

Are there crabby people here.  Yep, you bet.  (looking in mirror)

Are there times posts don't get replies?  Yep, you bet.  Some people here work for a living and don't post often or at all during the day.  Some people might just not have an answer to the question you're asking.  Would you like to scroll through 47 "Sorry, I don't know, but I just wanted to say I love your profile background!" posts only to find no one actually has an answer?

Are there people here who don't translate very well on the internet?  Yep, you bet. (looking in the mirror)

Are there post-ops here who won't pat your hand and tell you it's okay, pwecious, that you had cake 3 weeks post-op.  Yep, you bet (looking in mirror)

People - get a grip!  If you aren't happy here - leave!  But don't post these weepy "I'm leaving and taking my jacks with me" posts.  Just leave!  If you can't afford the Christmas card exchange - privately email the organizer and withdraw.  If you think that people who can't afford the Christmas card exchange are chea*****t managing their finances properly - consider how lucky *you* are that the above doesn't apply to you.

If you post about eating/doing things you know damned good and well you shouldn't be eating/doing - don't pitch a conniption because a post-op calls you on it.  You know exactly what you're doing is not compliant - because if it were, you'd be on here bragging about how compliant you *are*.

You are so right.   But I understand that some of the folks who post, just need somewhere to put there feelings.     Personally, some of the stuff I want to **** and moan about is so private I wouldn't write it down anywhere for the life of me.     What if I wanted to run for President!?!?   The media would have a field day.  Have a great day Pam.    Tink

Amen and thank you for bringing some perspective on it all.  Sometimes we all could use an attitude adjustment and a reminder of why we are here (to support, ask questions and get feedback) and why we are not (to get support for our non-compliance, to slam others and to turn into a bunch of whiny high schoolers).  Thank you for being a voice or reason.   PS.  Not that I don't love you OH, I wouldn't say and agree to these things if I didn't.
