Where Have You Found Proteinex?

I first heard about this stuff at our local WLS support group meeting last Saturday ..  A brand new post-op had been given an info sheet about this new product by her nurse at discharge.   I see now the post for it above by OH staff. The literature our group member had from her nurse stated that Proteinex was available for sale (in pill and liquid form) at, among other major chain stores, Wal-Mart and Target.  After our group meeting, I drove straight to our local Wal-Mart and Target but could not find the product for sale at either one.    ugh!   &:-/)   Has anyone found the stuff for sale in their local stores yet, and if so, which ones?   how much was it?   &:-)   Paul

It is a prescription only medication...Brian

 ???  well, actually, after I posted I received an email from the leader of our group and she claims that, although Proteinex does not require a prescription, it is kept behind the counter and has to be requested by customers.  Not sure why they would do that, if it doesn't contain any ingredients that could be abused (maybe they've had a problem with poor WLS patients shoplifting the product?   lol)   &:-)    Paul

Hold up here folks....are we talking about the Proteinex-18 that was discussed on the board? If so, I ordered the samples.  The company called me today on the phone, saying my order was sent and gave me the west coast distributers. Pacific West Health Care ph 888 565 9378 I logged on to a website -- try Proteinex or Proteinex-18 . I ordered samples from there. They called me and gave me the above distributer from West Coast and ph # Product is made from by LLorens Pharmaceuticals.  Check it out!  Think it might be in my mail today or tomorrow. Hi Atty, I went to the link provided here by OH, filled out the online request for samples.  Today they called me to say its on it way, and let me know there are stores in my area that sell it.  If ya want you could add yourself to my friends list, then PM me late this week, see if I got it, how it tastes!

I too am anxious to get my free sample to try it. I just got mine ordered yesterday. Also AchievOne is sending a same as well. The only one who has made me pay for sample was UnJury
