What is your favorite WLS friendly food that you eat?

Cottage cheese singles...I eat one every day (11 grams of protein).  I have them with a couple of low fat ritz crackers.  Yummy !

Mine right now is cottage cheese & pineapple with a dollop of sf cool whip, a handful of pecans, (crushed), & some sf pistachio pudding powder thrown in. Stir it all up & it's just like the watergate salad we used to take to gatherings when I was young. JJ

My faves are peanut butter (sparingly) and a pack of instant grits with ham and cheese cut up and cooked in it for protein.  At first SF jello was a must have.  I have to tell ya I LOVE your name!  My mom nicknamed me Krickett the day I was born and everybody except on here and  for business purposes calls me that to this day!! Right now what I eat on an almost daily basis is Tuna salad and String cheese. Two things that USUALLY do okay for me lol. Thats pretty much it. With as picky as my pouch is I tend to stick to what I KNOW will do okay lol of course I never can tell for sure anymore.

Well, I'd like to say that I had just one thing, but I don't.  I have a serious love of cheese though.  I mean many types of whole cheese--cheddar from mild to extra sharp, mozzarella, parmesan, colby, muenster, monteray jack, swiss, provolone, shredded of just about any kind and blend--especially the mexican, 4 cheese blend for tacos and such...  String cheese, ricotta cheese and cream cheese too!  But, I absolutely cannot tolerate cottage cheese in any way, shape or form.  It doesn't matter what you put in it or do to it, it does not set well for me. Other than cheese though, I could eat a nice medium steak about every day of the year.  I seriously LOVE steak!  But, that was true as a preop as well.  And, I went through a phase back about 6 weeks ago when I was eating sugar free Jello pudding in the cheesecake flavor with unflavored Unjury protein added like EVERY day.  I'm over it now thankfully!  LOL Lea
