V8... does it taste good?
I love V8 juice. It's slightly spicier than regular tomato juice. It will give you good vitamins, but not much in the way of fiber. If you need more fiber, try adding a little Benefiber to the things you drink during the day. It has no taste and really helps in the "go" department.

I always loved Regular V8, on ice. About a month after surgery i started drinking it alot, i prefer the Low Sodium, or the new V8 w/ Fiber. It took a while to get use to the Low Sodium, but it is alot less salt for us. I proab. drink a big container a week, and then i live on all kinds of fresh veggies from our garden as well.

I love regular V8 juice (but it has a LOT of sodium) but I despise tomato juice and the low-sodium V8. I have not tried any of the new V8 flavors. It does not taste like any specific vegetable -- since technically a tomato is a fruit -- it tastes like tomato with a bunch of other, unidentifable veggies (and a lot of salt added) .
The only way to know if you wil like it, of course, is to try it!

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I would never drink it before surgery, but decided I needed the veggies. I have to put it in the microwave and heat it on the beverage cycle and it actually tastes good after the first few times. I have at least a small can a day and sometimes 2.
