EAS protein drinks
EAS shakes are pretty good. I don't remember if/what sugar content is, but you might want to check that and that your calories aren't outrageous with the 3 of them. I assume you are far enough out that you are eating other foods too? If you have a nutritionist, you could check with them too. Actually I went back and looked and I can't tell when you had surgery. If it was fairly recently, you may want to check with your surgeon.

Flo....it's all a matter of taste. I for one think Muscle Milk tastes like yesterday's dishwater with a bit of chocolate in it.
I only like EAS cafe caramel but can't find them anymore.
I take an EAS chocolate, put it in the blender with
1/2 cup of skim milk for more protein and some calcium
a squirt of sugar free Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 packet of Splenda
a big scoop of PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
ice
And blend away. Makes a Reesy tasting milk shake. yummo

I am 6 weeks out and have been drinking 1-2 EAS Premium Protein shakes from Costco. It has 27 grams per serving, 140 cal., 2.5 fat, 3 carb, 2 sugars. That is if I only mix it with water. If I mixed it with milk, even more protein..The only thing with this product is that is has 3 kinds of protein in it...whey, soy, and casein. I hope that is ok..I'm feeling fine and dandy, but recently found out I was low on iron and Vit. D..I don't think this drink has anything to do with that though..
I LOVE the EAS Protein drinks! They are a daily staple for me. I use the EAS Myoplex or EAS Myoplex Lite. They have 20-25 gms of protein, 2 gms fat, 170 cal, 1 gm sugar. I mix a scoop of protein powder with them to give me a 43-48 gram protein drink. My surgeon wants me to get 70-80 gms of protein per day via protein drinks. So I do 2 EAS shakes per day with the protein powder added in to get my daily protein requirements in.
I get mine at Rite-Aid (local drugstore) and TOP Foods (local grocery store). You can also go to www.eas.com and shop online.

I have the EAS vanilla whey. One scoop has 23g protein, 3 carbs and 120 calories. Pretty equal to the Isopure vanilla which is also very good, even better than the EAS.
I found that the lite muscle milk has 1/2 amount of protein and twice as many carbs but will have one of those a day if I feel like a change. (unless you use 2 scoops but then you double cals and carbs.
