Loser's bench here I come!!!

I got approval for RNY on Sept 11, I couldn't get a date until my surgery became questionable because insurance is making changes on Jan. 1.  With this threat I was able to get a Dec. 30 surgery date instead of the Jan. or Feb date they were talking about.  I was in such shock and relief yesterday after I got the news.  I am so excited!

Oh what a nice way to ring in the start of a NEW YEAR!

YAY FOR YOU!!!  Congrats! What a great way to start the new year with your new journey for a healthy new life. Start your walking, drinking water, and don't worry about eating a nice T-day dinner and even Christmas dinner as long as the rest of the time you are doing the things you need to do. We really don't have to deprive ourselves, it all works out so perfectly despite ourselves. We usually get in our own way with some of these things. Do the best you can each day and be happy with that. It's all good! This is truly the best thing I've ever done for myself and would do it again in a second without a thought about it. I had a really great experience with the whole thing. My surgeon was awesome, I had no pain, it fact I questioned whether I even had surgery done to me because it was so easy for me and all I had was 6 small bandaids on my tummy, it was like "What is this?"  But, sure there was a few moments of ups and downs but it never lasted long and the results are truly a miracle!
