I am going to get a couple bottles of the Zero Carb Isopure at GNC and I'll let you guys know how it is.  It's about 4.69 a bottle but if it's good and 40g of protein - worth it!  They come in all flavors, Alpine punch, grape, banana/orange/pineaple, etc...  you can check them out at GNC.com.  I'm going to try the Alpine punch because my local store only has two flavors at the moment.

I bought the Alpine Punch.  They are ok inorder to slam 40g of protein into your body.  They have the worst after taste - completely dries out your mouth.  I may or may not try another flavor - I just can't find anything to get the protein in during the day.

I've tried many of the isopure flavors, especially when I was newly post op.   I like them.  They're water based, so they count as both liquid and protein.  They have only a little of the whey protein aftertaste.  They went  down easily for me.  I like the apple melon, grape and alpine punch flavors.  I have an Iced tea flavor in my fridge, but haven't  it yet.  Sometimes I cut them in half with lemonade or Tropicana Orangeade for breakfast when I'm not hungry, and sip it down on my way into work in the car.  They're complete protein .
You can get them cheaper on line, and GNC also sells a sampler package by the case that has a few different flavors in them.....

Best,

Cheryl

As a new RNY post op, I purchased 6 bottles of those Isopure bottles or ready made protein supplements. One of the worst tasting things I've ever had. I tried 4 of the flavors, none I could tolerate. I threw all 6 away. I could tolerate the Isopure protein powders. But you'll hear answers to your question about protein supplement that will be vastly different. It's up to your taste buds and likes or dislikes about texture, that determine which protein supplement you can tolerate. DAVE

I drink a bottle of Isopure orange flavored every day.  I like them ok, kinda taste like Tang, but I can't stomach the powders very well so I need the protien from somewhere.  I bought one bottle of each flavor when I started and the orange and grape were the only ones I could drink regularly.  The apple melon was by far the worst.  Good luck.

I LOVE the Isopure (RTD), every flavor.  I generally drink it over crushed ice, although straight out of the bottle is fine in a pinch.  I usually only drink half a bottle at a time, so I can spread my protein out more evenly during the day.

My friend, who had RNY the same day as me, bought a case and HATES them (lucky me, she is giving them to me).

I think most people love them or hate them.  Sorry not to be much help.  Try one and see what you think.  BTW, apple melon is one of my very favorites.  Someone else posted they don't like it at all.  It is a matter of personal taste.

Have a blessed Christmas.

The Zero Carb Isopure got me through my first two weeks post-op. But after a while I just couldn't choke them down.
