Greetings, WETEO dahlings!!
Mark it down on the calendar; I was a lazy butt around here today. I did no housework, didn't even load the dishwasher. This is an oddity for me; I'm a piddler. I'll wipe the counters down every time I go through the kitchen or at least do something. Instead, I lounged in the pool for about an hour and a half; then got ready for a big family graduation party. We drove an hour to the "pahtay" and had a fantastic time until "soap opera-esque" drama erupted involving my cousin's adopted daughter. She chose her big brother's graduation party to leave home (as in "moved out" carrying one plastic bag of stuff) with two guys she had met online a few weeks ago (but only actually met in person tonight for the very first time). Looooonnnnnggg story; but it was so sad to watch all of this unfold in their front yard with over seventy people there. Despite that, I had a "muy marveloso" time with three of my cousins and their families.
I have a few more reasons why I love my RNY...I now wear a size XL top; a ring that my husband bought for me over twenty-five year ago finally fits; people tell me I am getting tiny (which I'm definitely not yet) and I weigh less than I have since the late 1970's! Whoo hoo!
Well, that's it from me for now. Oh, no rain today (hallelujah), so I'm headed out to swim a bunch of laps. Heck, I might even go naked (ahem, under my swimsuit). ; )
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! Muah!!!![]()

Gina, that's what happened for my lousy garage sale a few weeks ago too! of course it rains a little more often here in central Ohio, lol!
My girlies and I spent the day cleaning out their rooms and the loft - oh my stars, so much JUNK! We will have to seriously think about what to do about birthdays and such, cuz no 2 kids need the amount of stuff mine have accumulated! It was a beautiful day, so we had the windows all open to the great outdoors, I threw out a bunch of stuff and boxed up the good-condition stuff for a local kids re-sale shop.
B: a scrambled egg and a few bites of waffle
S: a piece of colby cheese
L: grilled cheese on high-fiber bread, a half cup of tomato soup
D: 4 oz pork chop, a spoonful of peas and a few bites of baked potato
S: 2 mini dark chocolate snickers (TOM-induced craving!)
Tomorrow is a picnic for my hubby's work. Sounds like a lot of fun is planned, the weather is supposed to be good, my kids got to bed early tonight, so they should be well-rested and hopefully a good time will be had by all!
