Liquid Calcium

It's got a very small amount of sugar and carbs, so if that bothers you I wouldn't do it. It isn't horrible - actually it's pretty good. I started taking immediately post op when the thought of calcium chews or chalky pills was a little too much to bear, and I still take it. You go through it pretty fast though, since you'll probably be taking 2 or 3 servings of it/day. My nutritionist seemed to be happy with it.

EDIT: The nutrition facts for this one is listed in terms of elemental calcium, so if you're comparing to another brand, be sure and compare the amounts of elemental calcium in each (which is what is actually used by the body). I used the tropical oasis before surgery - it's pretty good but it costs far more and the nutritionals aren't as good.
