I bought a brand called Wellesse Calcium & Vitamin D Essential Bone Health Liquid.  I got it at my local grocery store, but I've also seen it at drugstores.  It's tart, citrus-y and kind of chalky.  I try to take it at least 1 tblsp 4 times a day.  It isn't bad, but as soon as I'm done with this bottle I'm going to give some of the chewables a try.  My nutritionist wasn't sure of the absorption rate of a liquid.

The calcium in it is: Calcium Citrate and Tricalcium Phosphate, 1000IU in 2 tblsp.

It doesn't specify how much of each is in 1 dosage.

I get the Wellesse Calcium & Vitamin D and it is very very pleasing to the taste....I take one tablespoon after lunch and supper!  I get it at www.drugstore.com. Actually B12 Dots, Flinstone Vitamins Complete and the Wellesse Liquid Calcium w/D are all priced best here!  Good luck!

Keep in mind that the tricalcium phosphate doesn't absorb in us.

That's my #1 concern with the product.  Since it doesn't have a breakdown of how much of each calcium is in it, I make sure I take in a total of 2000IU.  I don't want to have calcium issues later on, so I'm going to switch to a more reliable form of calcium as soon as this bottle is done.

That's what I would do.

I feel companies that don't have our best interests at heart are more likely to try and deceive us in their labeling.

It was on my Nutrionist's list of recommended calcium brands.  Now reading the bottle and it is confusing when it does not break down calcium citrate and the tricalcium phosphate.

I use this product too and I love it. I have problems with pills so the usual horse pills failed miserably and the small ones..I just needed to take too many in one day.

Just a side note to the poster above. Each tbsp only has 252mg of elemental calcium citrate which is what we need. So you have to take 2 tablespoons 3 times a day to get in 1500mg. Note the 1 tablespoon recommeded on the bottle.
