Use hamburger or ground turkey for the crust.  Don't even use anything with flour.

Line the pan with ground meat, bake.  Add toppings, heat.  Waahhhlahhhh, you have pizza!

Check out egg faces's web site she makes pizza out of low carb wraps or tortillas.  I read on here where a lady takes a wrap and bakes it for a little bit to get it crisp before putting on the stuff....

Hope you get some other ideas.

I agree with Debie. Eggface's tortilla pizzas are great. The simple version is this:
Preheat oven to 375. Put a drop of oil on a pizza pan and spread it around. Place a Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheat tortilla on it. Do not add toppings until the oven is preheated. When the oven is ready, add pizza or marinara sauce or whatever sauce you want. Add a slice of lowfat provolone or mozzeralla. Add whatever other toppings you want and pop it in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes. These come out lovely and are just the right size for weight loss surgery people. I use the small tortillas and one is just right for a meal. You can do many variations with sauces and toppings.

Really try the worldaccordingtoeggface.com  It's wonderful.  I've made the frajita size mission whole wheat low carb tortilla and the bruschetta sauce from trader Joes and then slice up turkey meatballs and use olives and mushrooms and anything I want and then top with the 3 cheese grated cheese...it's italian.  It's wonderful but I can get only 1/2 down easily I cut it into 4 pieces.  I was a piggy one day and tried the third slice and boy was i too full.  Also all if you every want shrimp she also has a great marinade that I'm working on today with sugarfree apricot jam and olive oil and ginger and garlic.  It's great.   Also I made eggfaces chocolate cake today..It's a hit with grandkids and everyone.  She is wonderful with recipes ...try her out.  I haven't been disappointed al all!  Love Patty

I agree the pita bread makes wonderful pizza crust.  Slice in half in diameter, cuts carbs.  Spray with olive oil and toast it under broiler before adding toppings to keep the sauce from making it soggy.  It's really good.

Here's another idea -- work with zucchini too.

Cauliflower Flatbread

1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower (food processor)
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella cheese (or your favorite cheese)
Oregano, Parsley, Chives, Garlic salt - whatever you prefer

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray
- Combine cauliflower, egg, cheese
- Spread "dough" evenly on cookie sheet
- Sprinkle with oregano, parsley, pepper, salt (whatever you prefer)
- Bake at 450 degrees for 13-15 minutes

Notes:
- Sprinkling with parmesam tastes great if eating flatbread plain
- If making pizza, add toppings and put in broiler quickly to melt cheese
- These rehead nicely and crisp up again inthe microwave

(This is something I used to do on Atkins all the time - just make sure you get as much liquid as possible out of the veggies before baking)

I love pizza ... I have not had it since surgery until last week because the thought of using anything else for the dough grossed me out.

2 weeks ago I needed pizza ... so I bought some tortilla's & I eat pizza every other day now.  I do the tortilla (i use regular white ones, no fancy ones), pizza sauce, mozz. cheese & any topping I have laying around.  I can only eat 1/2 a tortilla pizza at once ... but I save the other 1/2 for a snack or feed it to my kiddos ... they even love it!

ALSO ... we made "mountain man pies" over the campfire last week & I knew I'd be in for pouch hell if I ate mine with regular bread.  So I bought some Arnolds sandwich thins ... OMG, they are AMAZING!  You can also use them for "mini pizza's" in the oven.  My kids LOVE the sandwich thins better than the english muffins.  Good luck, hope you enjoy your pizza!
