For those of us who don't dump.....anyone there??
Looks like you've lost alot. Just jump back on the wagon! You are sooo right about food is only part of the story...Your workout sounds great. My foot is currently broken and dare I say it....I cant wait to excercise again!!! ( is this really ME talking?).. But yeah it is no easy fix and I knew this before... it's just sinking in now!
You're barely over 2 months out. Have you tried all of the foods you shouldn't have? One thing I found (I'm a dumper) is that often you will tolerate something early out, that you can't stand further out. In some ways I get WORSE with dumping the further out I am.
Early out, the traumatized pouch/stomach doesn't really send appropriate signals to your brain.... I was nearly 6 months out before I started getting barely dependable messages that I was full, and that didn't work all that often. I feel far worse now when I eat too much than when I was early out.
When I was newly out, I lost pretty good the first three weeks, but from week 3 through week 8 barely lost two pounds. Here I am, 18 months out, and down 181 pounds.

~Lady Lithia~ 200 lbs lost!
March 9, 2011 - Coccygectomy!
I chased my dreams, and my dreams, they caught me!
Congrats on your loss. My doctor has given me a food plan and Im free to try anything I'd like slowly....I eat 300-800 calories on a good day 300 of which is protien supplement. On a bad day less than that. But... I have to count every calorie because I have an appitite most days and seem to have an iron pouch! But as you said it is relatively early.
I don't dump and I'm 8 yrs. out. I love it - I don't have to worry about what I eat when I'm out and if anythings' going to make me sick. At a wedding or graduation I can have a few bites of cake, I can eat whatever's out at a party or barbeque, I don't have to worry about something being too sweet or if it's made from fat and oils. I do have to be diligent but this far out I know what to eat and I allow myself a treat now and then. For me it's great not to dump, it frees you up for more social situations. And I do have to police myself a bit more carefully, but now a bite of cake or candy is plenty - I don't overdo it.
I am not a dumper at all either. I did get sick one time in the last 11 months but I believe it was due to over eating, not what I ate. In some cases I love it, however it would be very easy to self sabotage! I have been falling off the wagon a lot more lately so this week I started trying to behave more. I like Mrs. Obama's theory...90/10... behave 90% of the time but don't get down on yourself for splurging 10%. Good luck to you!

I haven't dumped, but that's not to say I won't. I don't think, at 2 months out, that I have eaten enough sugar or fat at one time to dump on. I'm fighting for every pound too. Some days I lose a pound, and other days I gain 1/2 a pound. It's going to be a constant struggle, but this is what I signed on for and I plan to make it work.
You are doing great!!! Yes ..the weight fluctuations from day to day sometimes are maddening! Im now trying to stay off the scale and just do what im supposed to do because I was obsessed with the fluctuations and stopped eating for days and days on end and then working out like crazy while not eating... so I am now just trying to be patient with myself and do what Im supposed to be doing
