Is it safe to take Nyquil???? If not, what should I take? I can't take this icky sick feeling anymore....
There is a LOT of sugar in NyQuil. It is my cure all but I am not bypassed.

Children's NyQuil has about 9 grams of carbs, of which about 7 grams are sugar per 15 mL dose. DayQuil Liquid has about 24 grams of carbs., of which about 14 grams are sugar per 30 mL dose. I started to get a cold a couple of weeks ago, and the pharmicist told me Clariton D. Amazingly it worked very well. I took the 24 hour kind. I also did Nyquil at night, no problems, and this helped me sleep, no dumping from it. I was told it was ok to use it. As for the sugar content, I looked at it like it's not something I'm going to take a lot of, for a long period of time, so the extra calories I will just walk another block or so to work it off. I only took both for about 4 days and it cleared up
