Pouch Capacity at 2 years out!

Hello to everyone,

I was wondering what your pouch capacity is at 2 years out, I know we are all different but I am really concern that I have so much space and I am so hungry all the time, once again I feel that I can sit down with my family and eat just as much as the rest of my family does,

So exactly how much should I be eating at 2 years out?

If I don't measure - I could eat more - but don't. I set out this much and call it done.

While I  haven't had my surgery, my NUT said I should never be eating more then a cup's worth of total food at any one sitting after the "honeymoon" phase.

I'm 2 1/2 years out and I can eat a normal sized meal now.  I can unfortunately do that several times a day and have put 15 lbs back on since I hit my goal.  I am still eating much less than I was prior to surgery but I really need to get back to the "rules".

I am almost 4 yrs post op  and I could eat a regular meal.  I gained 30 lbs. I found the
"5 day pouch test.com"  and tried it. It retrains your pouch back to basics. Now I can only
eat 4 oz. of food at one time. I hope this helps.

My surgeon has his patients work up to 1 cup to 1 1/4 cup of food per meal by one year out and thereafter. I am 8 yrs out and still use this rule. Obviously, steak is more dense than soup so you'll hold less meat, but the cup or a bit more per meal is a good way to figure it.

I'm only 7 weeks post op, but my surgeon and I discussed that at my 6 week check up.  He said I should be about 4 to 6 oz now, but that will increase to 6 to 8 oz about the year mark.

I'm a year and a half out....and I eat about a cup at each meal...depending on what that meal is...some things (such as steak...as someone else said) I cant eat as much.
And again, remember to eat slowly and measure if you have to (i still do this)...
