I put those chicken breast in the crock pot, then when it simmered down, coated them with hot wing (buffalo) sauce.  It was heavenly!

Now, if only someone knew a way to make EGGS tolerable!

I'm 3 yrs postop and still occasionally have trouble with eggs.  It's one of those foods that a lot of us have issues with for some reason.

Have you tried Eggbeaters instead?? A lot of people that have issues with eggs do well with the Eggbeaters.

I started out with those instead of eggs.  I can now do a boiled egg fine, but scrambled/fried eggs really sit heavy in my pouch still.

make your eggbeaters omelet style with the soft laughing cow cheese in it.

i only had pain from eggs twice but that was from eating too fast.
Both praise and blame cause concern,
For they bring people hope and fear.
The object of hope and fear is the self
For, without self, to whom may fortune and disaster occur?
Therefore,
Who distinguishes himself from the world may be given the world,
But who regards himself as the world may accept the world.

Eggs are hard for me too.  I find that if I eat them scrambled, they make me sick.  But if I have them in a wrap or something, they go down fine (and stay down).  Just experiment and see what works for you.

The crockpot is always a good way to fix meat because it keeps it very moist. I do better with dark meat now than with breast meat. I also like the rotisserie chickens you can get in the grocery deli as they are very moist. As to eggs, early out I could only do boiled eggs. Now I eat scrambled eggs, but they CANNOT be dry or overcooked at all or they will come back up. I know how to fix them myself, and if I am eating out I order them soft scrambled, and if they come out too dry I send them back for a re-do.

Be thankfull that you have to even ask this question! There will most likely come a time when EVERYTHING will go down without much problem.  I am over 5 yrs out and I can eat pretty much anything.  Dry meat is about the only thing I still have issues with... eggs with 2% cheese singles scrambled into them eaten SLOWLY were the way I got them down at first.  It's those protein molecules!  They can pack tightly in the pouch.

Hard boiled chopped are the only way eggs work for me ..and at 3+ years out I cannot eat chicken in any form........so be happy you can tolerate it now.  You're doing well......be patient!!!!!!   Susan
