I want to know everything.. how painful, for how long, problems, good results.. I am interested in it all.. so if you had a tummy tuck post surgery please please.. lemme know!

I'm so excited for you. I'm hoping to have a tummy tuck one day too. I'm interested in reading your responses as well.
I think OH has a plastics forum. Perhaps you could repost your question in there. You might get more feedback.
Good luck, and don't forget to post those answers once you find out for yourself.

I did it in July, and fortunately insurance covered most of mine, too! If you click my You Tube link in my signature line, it'll take you to my profile there where I have some preop/postop videos about it showing excess skin I had and postop results. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail or note there. I don't check OH as often as I am on Face Book and You Tube.

I had mine done in late 2008 and have the story on my profile if you'd like to look it up there. It hurt like hell. I've had a bunch of surgeries and this was the toughest one by FAR.
I had a common complication called tissue necrosis. Some of the skin died along the incision. Miserable nasty stinking experience, but thank heavens didn't get any infection or systemic problems. So I had to have a revision four weeks after the original procedure. You can see pictures of this (NOT for the faint of stomach!) at http://www.angelfire.com/mt/lovelylovely/tummytuck .
The advice I give to all tummy tuckers is: DO NOT GET CONSTIPATED. Stay well ahead of that issue with stool softeners, lots of fluids, fiber, etc. Trust me, being blocked up with all that belly work is a truly miserable experience.

Add me as a friend and you can see my tt pictures before and after, best money I ever spent, ever, period, exclamation point!!! I love having a flat stomach, something I never had even when I was young and weighed about the same as I do now. My tt was in 2006, so its been quite a while now and I still love it. I still swell though during that time of the month, which is a little disconcerting but it does go away. The pain wasn't bad for me, I woke up with it numb and it's still numb, which is weird when you itch but the scratch isn't where the itch is, you will see. It's worth it, go enjoy!
I had an RNY in 2002 and a TT in 2003 (14 months later). There are pics in my profile. I was so happy to be rid of all of my belly skin!!! The healing was LLLOOOONNNGGGG, but the results were worth it!!! I could not vaccume for like 3 months. My head was way ahead of my body. I made the mistake of hiking too soon, and when we were trying to walk out, it was downhill, and I was SOO uncomfortable!! I learned that downhill was WAAAYYYY worse than uphill, who knew??
Just remeber to take it slow, and LISTEN to your doctor!!!!
