The problem is that Flintstones don't have all the nutrients we need, especially not the gummies.  They are missing tons of important vitamins and minerals.  Might as well eat some gummy bears.

A note: Flintstones COMPLETE chewables (tablets, not gummies) are the equals of the Centrum chewables.  I picked the flintstones in hopes they'd taste better, but they still taste like ass.  I stuck with eating the purple ones.

Not quite, babe.

When you look at the actual ingredients, they are different in terms of type of vitamin.  Centrum uses more of acetate rather than beta-carotene (which RNY, DS, and VSG does not absorb), etc.  I know Centrum kids uses carbonyl iron and I believe flintstone uses fummarate, but I don't have a a centrum adults or a flintstones in front of me right now.

Point is the RDA may look similar, but the actual ingredients and breakdown aren't quite the same.  They are designed for a gut of a high-acidic child that MIGHT overdose on them.

I'll have to check that next time I'm at wallyworld.  I had the impression when doing my primary comparisons that regular flintstones and the flintstones complete were two very different creatures.

You're right there, as well.  Complete has iron, and I think selenium in which the regular does not.

It's nitty-gritty stuff that most people (including 95% of the docs and nuts) don't bother looking at.  But when those of us who take it **** up our lives on it, we kinda learn WHY.

~LOL~ at the shirt.  What's interesting is that I downed an entire bottle of those little *******s when I was old enough to climb up to where Mom stored them, thinking they were candy.

Perhaps that was the first sign of my inability to practice willpower with food.

I use Celebrate Vitamins and I love them. Go to their website and ask for samples. My favorites are

Multi: Mandarin, Pineapple/Strawberry
Iron: no choice, but I don't think the Grape is terrible
Calcium: Strawberry Creme, Lemon Calcet Bites

They also have a fabulous chocolate milk protein mix with your multi and calcium in it. Vanilla Cake Batter is waaaaaaaaaay sweet, I couldn't tolerate it

Good Luck

PS I'm 4 months out and my egg tolerance i**** or miss, don't fret over it
