1 year surgiversary

1 year ago today, I was in surgery weighing 352, scared to death I was never gonna wake up. Almost backed out. I am so glad I went thru with it. Today, 1 yr post-op, I weigh 212. I have lost 140 lbs in 1 yr, and a total loss of 220.

I am no longer borderline diabetic, and am loving life and living it to the fullest.

Congratulations dommiepa!!! That is fantastic. You are truly an inspiration to me. I had my surgery on 9 Nov 2010 and am struggling a bit.

I was diabetic. I had my last shot of insulin on the day I left the hospital after surgery.

Keep up the good work.
