No.  Listing here is strictly voluntary on part of the doctor.  This is a slightly enhanced version of Yellow Pages for surgeons.  You should pick your surgeon by his/her education, years performing surgery, reputation, and many many more factors.  Mine is listed here, but that was the very least of my criteria for picking him.

Mine wasn't here until I listed him.  But he was in a practice where I could get information about it and liked him personally.  I would want o know her previous experience but everyone has a right to move around.

Nope no worries about her not being on this site.
Just check her credentials. If possible have your surgery at a CENTER OF EXCELLENCE...
I'd be worried if you weren't nervous...

Center of Excellence means only that they have big beds and have agreed to accept REALLY low payments from the insurance company.

I'll bet most people don't know this!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

It is apparent I was one of those people! HA HA
oh well...
in some cases those extra large beds are a good thing though - right?
May as well be comfortable.

And that they do at least 125 surgeries a year. That's for the whole hospital not for each surgeon.

I think going to someone who could be a COE if they wanted to (even if they haven't actually done it) is a good idea because that means you should get a certain basic level of care. But my own standards were a bit higher than that.
