Surgery Update

I had my tubal and ablation yesterday at 8: 15 am and got home around 2 pm.  Except for the shoulder pain from the gas, I am doing well.  Had the tubal lap.
Surgeon said  I was " thoroughly ablated and should never have another period."  He even sent me home with pictures of what he did inside me.  I had very little drainage, and the ablated tissue is starting to come out now.  I took regular tylenol today.  The cramping after I came out of anesthesia was horrible, like labor pain, but the morphine helped a little, but what helped the most was when  I could take the percoset after I woke up and ate a little bit.  The percoset helped a lot.

I also followed the rules from when I had my RNY, walking to get the gas moving, and deep breathing with the incentive spirometer to clear the anesthesia out of my lungs.  Although they never mentioned it, you learn from previous experience.

I have no regrets to having the tubal or ablation done.

Thank you for all the prayers and swung chickens.

Mega loser vibes to all my OH family.

I had my ablation last August.  I still had very light periods for the next 7 months.  Then it all stopped.  Haven't had a period since April.  Yay!!  Hope it continues that way.  Good luck to you in your recovery.
