I had my surgery one month ago and I am already 37 pounds lighter!  I can already see changes..for instance, I HAVE ANKLES!!!  I am discovering that small changes are huge in my attitude.
I am struggling a bit with the diet so far, but working on it.  I will be on regular food next week, finally, but I'm still adjusting to the changes in HOW I must eat.  I know that it is a long process, but I also know that it is all worth it!  I am one happy lady!

 it's fun, isn't it?!!!

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

There is no better time than right now (except before surgery) to deal with any unresolved food addiction issues.  If you are craving certian unhealthy foods now, avoid them like the plague and seek help if you need it!  There is no shame in getting help.  surgery does not fix food addictions.

Be proud; you are doing an awesome job.

Thanks, Chris.  I actually am not having problems with the foods I used to think I just HAD to have.  My whole mindset has changed through this process and I couldn't be more pleased.  Thanks for the encouragement. It certainly helps.

Isn't it wonderful, the small victories as you go along?

May you have many more!

Thank you so much. You are right, I think the small victories are the best.  Those are the ones that show me I am advancing and progressing.  Each little one gives me strength and motivation.  This is a marvelous journey we are all on.
