OH events

LAURIE-I'm sure no expert on this subject, but I've attended numerous OH conferences, over the years, so I guess I know a little-as an attendee-not as an organzier.

Like MM said-the events are usually decided after the first of the year-and usually months ahead-watch for them by hitting the link "OH Events" above the message board screen. Usually the pending event dates will be there, even though the "details" are still pending. Locations are often decided on due to price/hotel deals/etc/etc. The locations have been all over the country, but obviously the planners will try to book where they have the best turn out. Sponsership is also a factor, as often a surgeon/hospital, etc will help foot the cost of these very expensive conferences, thus keeping the costs manageable for the attendees (usually around $50). You are encouraged to "vote" for your location of choice-anytime-by messaging/emailing OH member services. They need/want YOUR input.

When you get a chance to go to an event I heartily encourage you to go-wherever you may be in your journey.
