NEED SOME ANSWERS TO SOMETHING I READ IN OH MAGAZINE

Not only was my Dr the best but he was also a WLS patient himself about 8 years prior to mine so he TOTALLY knew everything there was to know about our journeys. I knew I was in good hands not only with him but with the whole practice/nutrition program.  If you read my story you will know I had it done in Florida but now live in Ohio, so yes I absolutely keep up with my labs once a year. Not only from my primary but I also have my surgeons office fax me a bloodwork script every year so that I get the proper bariatric labs done.

I will stick to my program and as they say "if it's not broke, don't fix it"

Thanks for your much valued reply.

:)

Okay - I read it this morning - my takeaway that is that surgeon must have lots of people coming to him with stalled weight loss - and they tell him that they DEPEND on nuts and nut butters, and milk for protein.

He suggests LEAN proteins first, and nuts as an occasional thing.

It wasn't a hard and fast rule there.
