What do people who fails the gastric bypass is to do?

The key, for me, to avoid regaining ALL of my weight is to nip it in the bud when the regain is small. I am currently using myfitnesspal to track my intake; focusing on protein (which keeps me from craving carbs); and exercising a few times a week. I gained 20 pounds by allowing myself unrestricted access to sugar/candy. I am an "all or nothing" personality; I cannot have candy in moderation....I CANNOT.

I have lost modest regains in the past and I'm sure I will lose this one too...

Get back to the basics of a healthy diet/exercise program; be patient because it WILL NOT come off fast like when your surgery was new; and keep posting on OH. I find all those things help me when I've regained.

Good luck.

Make sure there are no medical issues by contacting your surgeon.  If not, check out this group:

This must be so devastating for you.
There are many who were in the same boat and got revisions, either to ERNY or DS.  I would only consider that after you're certain you've done absolutely everything you can to make changes yourself.  Try all of this advice first before considering a revision, but do know that it's a possibility.
