Surgery is here 2/22

well today is the DAY, it's now 3:09 am and I have had my shower and started to pack a light bag for the hospital. In 4 short hours I will be in OR preparing for a new life, new dreams and a new beginning. I weighed this morning and I have lost a total of 38 pounds in the process for this new chance at life.

Soon the journey begins and I pray for a smooth ride!!

Congrats to you! I remember being up early too. I remember how different everything felt that morning as got ready and as I walked towards the hospital. I can still remember the smell of the early morning air and looking up at the hospital thinking "Everything is going to change". It's a huge gift and you won't believe how soon you will see all the changes you hear about.

Be gentle and kind to yourself and I will send some good thoughts your way!
