What ARE you drinking? Highly unlikely it isacid reflux as you do not have a pylorus and you just had surgery three days ago. While you can get acid reflux with RNY it is rare, and happens after eating a large meal. You couldn't be on solid food at this point.
The previous poster had a different surgery. Are you taking tiny sips? At 4 days out you should only be drinking water and protein powder mixed with water (unless your surgeon told you otherwise). You have a bunch of open sores in your gut. So, jus****er and protein. Wishing you a quick recovery. And TINY sips all day...
Best,

It most certainly can be acid, my surgeron prescribed a script which I filled prior to surgery for acid just in case I needed it. I was fortunate not have needed it, but its here in case I do....
Take it easy and hope it gets better soon!
