Attending the Annual Parrothead Family Reunion this summer...

...is going to be different...

Those on this board who are fellow parrotheads know that at a Jimmy Buffett concert, it's the tailgating with friends that is as much fun as the concert itself...

That being said, I know that beer is out (both due to the carbs AND the carbonation) and I'm pretty sure that Margaritas will be out for this one (don't want to risk dumping)...

Since my relationship to and with food is going to be different, I expect I'll be consuming a tiny, tiny portion of a cheeseburger (without the big, warm bun) in my new paradise...

Any veterans that can speak to this or am I a pioneer in re: this experience here?

You could have a virgin Margarita.  They have a SF ready mix.  I bought some at Wal-Mart and it tastes good.  I buy it ocassionaly to give me a something different to drink.
