Veterans! Lets Paint a Picture for our Newbies!

We haven't done this in a while. 

Post the top 5 (or more!) life changing things that have happened to you since surgery and before and after pics.

This will help paint a picture of what to expect for our newbies!!

I'll start:

1)  Weight begins with a "1"
2) I can shop anywhere and wear high heels again
3) I am healthy and in the best shape of my life

 AWESOME!!!! absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!! very inspirational!!!

OOOPS MY TOP 5s...

1. HEALTH AND MOBILITY ... keeping a total loss of 203 pounds from my highest recorded weight for 5 years 3 months and maintaining...

2. 5 co-morbidities in full remission ... off all medications since day of surgery..

3. Run 5- 10- 20Ks with energy to spare to run some more...

4. From size 4X-5X to size 0-2 sometimes 4...

5. Back to doing endurance swimming again and loving it! After competing on the swim team in HS and not being able to do so in my morbid obese years I am swimming again all styles for distance... for speed... for endurance ... WOOT ... this is my best NSV yet!

 

 

 

 

 
 
 

You look gorgeous as always!!  I bought a black and white polka dot dress for spring also, and I think I own that very same hair!  lol

I handmade my very own full lace and the one I made for the OH sista in the picture with me... I am still in practice mode though but my business partner and I are working at it (patience) ... too bad I can't spend much more time at the shop after my regular work schedule.  MSW loved the piece I presented to her .. One of the things I forgot to list was meeting awesome OH people at the different OH Conferences .... I met this awesome OH sista MSW will not Settle at the OH Conference in Rye, NY and have kept in close contact with her IRL since.... Our DDs even became IRL friends ... She comes up from Georgia for her treatments and we meet when she does ... LOL she was thrilled .. we both had shades of brown and blond ... 

Check us out yesterday morning... I told you I have a hair thang LOL ... and many whoppers too... MSW is so cool ... I did both our hair and then we had 5 a.m. breakfast ... 
 

I made a collage of us and shared it on BAF this morning... THESE ARE TWO OH SISTAS ... MYSELF AND MSW WILL NOT SETTLE ... OUR BEFORE AND AFTER ....
 

You both look great!  You know how I feel about hair, growing mine out has been the most trying experience, it is truly taking forever.  I literally was thinking yesterday, how the hell much are extensions again.  Yeah I know, too expensive.  I just want it long damnit.  lol

 wowwww, I can't believe it, size 2-4 ????? did you have arm life or tummy tuck or any kind of plastic surgery? I don't see any loose skin!! any way you look fabulous martitalinda.

Wow! You are one hot Mama!!  Thank you for sharing, 3 days till surgery, this certainly helps me remain focused on the prize...my health and happiness first and foremost!!  But if I could have a bod like yours, that'd be okay too!  :)    Thank you for sharing!
