You have done so amazing!

For me, the top 5 things:
1) Much improved health- I take care of myself now.
2) I like living in my shoes a lot more- increased self confidence and ease.
3) Shopping in petite departments, and shopping small petite sizes.
4) I do have to work hard on maintenance- I knew it would be hard but not this hard. It's everything I hated pre- op- diet and exercise. But I'm doing it, and damn proud of myself!
5) I'm experiencing so much more in my life- putting myself out there with gusto!

@Anne, you should be damn proud of yourself because maintenance is damn hard.  I am 8 years out, and it is still hard, but I am doing it, and like you, am damn proud.  Cheers to maintenance!!

Awesome job Kim!!!

Post-Op

- 165 pounds
- 9% body fat
- run and hike
- all co-morbidities resolved.
- no prescription meds.
- feel amazing.
- just escorted my six year old daughter to a father-daughter dance and I felt excited instead of ashamed.

Anne, thank you so much!  That was very kind of you!  She told me she'd remember that night forever.  It made my heart melt.

CHRIS-I don't recall ever having seeing your "before" picture before--in this case the pictures say at least TWO thousand words...awesome, my brother, just awesome...

And your little one-GORGEOUS! I have a pink hat, like that one-but I will never wear it in public again-now that I have seen someone look PERFECT in it-you two have every reason to be very, very proud of each other..

Mostly, just think of the EXAMPLE, of health, you (General you)  can now set forth for your little one...May she never struggle from the problems with wt/etc we have had

KUDOS!
