Ok so I had my surgery on Weds, came home yesterday. I am finding that I have to make myself eat and drink, because I have no desire to do so. I will be so glad to get my staples and drain out on weds. Hope everyone is doing well.

Welcome home Christy.

The desire to eat may return later....maybe not.  Now you can drink and eat to nourish your body and not for other reasons.

May your recovery continue to go well.

I have never had any hunger after my surgery in 2007.  It makes it so much easier.

You can go for months without eating, but only days without drinking -- make sure you stay hydrated.

It is like a JOB for the first few weeks for some of us ---- you should be consuming about 4 ounces per hour -- I think that equates to 2 tablespoons every 15 minutes --- it doesn't matter if you want to or not --- just do it.

I'm fighting the same battle.  My sleeve does not like water apparently.  I'm worried about getting dehydrated.
