Morning Guys,
I need help!!!! I am almost 17 months out from surgery and I feel a lot of my old habits coming back to fruition. I have maintained at about 160 for the past few months but I really really want to get down to 140 and I want to STAY there!!!! Can anyone offer me any help? An eating plan? How do you supress your appetite? Healthy, yummy snacks? Easy meals that my kids and fiance will love too? Your workout regime? Do you all know of any products that really boost metabolism and energy. Being a single mom, being in school full time and having a full time career is kicking my butt and all I wanna do is sleep when I'm not busy. I have to get back into the gym I know but is there anything else you can do to help me! Let me know Thanks!!!!!

I also work full time, am in grad school, and have a family.  I understand your frustration.  I use a 4 ingredient cook book which helps with easy meals.  Exercise is also a big stress reliever and will help to get additional weight off.  Meditation and prayer can also help get over stress.  Also, make sure that you are taking your vitamins and supplements.

It's great that you recognize this now.  The farther out you get the harder it is to maintain.
Go back to the basics your Dr. gave you.....water, water, water....protein 1st....even go through your food phases again!

Pre-make high protein snacks and meals to have on hand.
Don't buy alot of carbs/sugars/snacks.
Sounds like you are busy as it is....if you don't have time for the gym....walk!  Go to a park or playground or mall....and walk!

I am 4 1/2 yrs post RNY....been there and still have to work to maintain!

Wish you the best!

Thanks guys! I will definitely take all of your tips into consideration. I have come too far to just settle now. I will not stop until I reach my goal. Thanks for the encouragement.
