How many of you are craving pizza the second you get to full foods? I know I was, wish I had seen this:

This looks delicious, but depending on your surgery type always check ingredients to make sure it will go down well

Is this a joke?  Pizza crust is off the table but heavy cream and sausage are on?  Um no thanks. Calories count, so does fat, this isn't healthy for anyone.

Not ALL fat is created equal...for ME carbs (ie pizza crust = GAIN)...ymmv.

Unless you had a DS (your info says you had VSG) which requires a higher fat intake, this is not a good post-WLS choice!  Heavy cream, sausage, AND pepperoni?  That is a LOT of fat and calories.  Don't let carbophobia and tunnel vision on protein lead you into meaning unhealthy choices like this one.

Any low carb/kerogen ice diet should include more fat. In retrospect you are right in that this may not be a great recipe for all WLS patients. I got tunnel vision on the pizza part not the protein part.

Any recipe can be TWERKED and adjusted to fit ANY surgery and/or persons plan.  Recipes aren't written in stone.

You mean TWEAKED?

Yes, of course it CAN, but you would be surprised how many people will just make it as is and say "but I got it off a WLS forum and no one said anything about the high calories/fat/etc."!
