Walkers and Runners, which app are you using??
I have been using the iRunner app for tracking my walks and I used to like it. For some reason it has started wigging out. It will give me consistent readings for my first three 0.5 mile laps and then it will give me a wacky reading for the 4th 0.5 mile lap (for instance 1st lap 8 min, 2nd lap 8 min, 3rd lap 8.3 min, 4th lap 23 min). Over the past few days it has been telling me that my miles are getting slower and slower. Started out at 19 min mile, then 21 min mile, and now a 23 min mile. This is despite the fact that I am walking the same distance in the same amount of time and I walk to music at 130 BPM to keep my pace consistent.
I am getting frustrated so I am looking for another good tracker. What are you using to track you r walks/runs and what do you like about your app?
I've been using RunKeeper for years now and really love it. Most other fitness apps sync with it which is great if you're tracking weight/food intake. My partner who is marathon training loves it as well. It's got training plans, gives you prompts, and everything else you need. It's also free.
The apps I really like, though, are the Zombies Run ones. They make working out super fun since you've got a neat story to listen to and, if you use GPS tracking, you can even get chased by zombies. They also make a 5K training app that I completed back in May I think. I did it on the elliptical since I'm pre-op and that's what my knees like, but I actually managed to do 5K by the end of the program. I was astounded. :D But those apps are more of the motivational kind than actually tracking your speeds, etc.

I used Nike Run for a while, but it started acting funky and not giving me true data (it suddenly had me going 2 mph faster than I have ever run!) and one day I ran on a track and know that I ran only 3 miles, it said I did over 4, so not just a 'little glitch'. I now use the app that came with my Garmin 220 Forerunner and am thinking about RunKeeper as I see that a good bit on MFP for folks.
