I'm glad you were able to work with the surgeon and find a solution. Don't be so quick to blame yourself for issues. Sometimes you just can't tell and things can go south pretty quickly. Better to be a pain in the butt to your surgeon than miss something. It could easily have been something more serious. Sip, Sip, Sip.
