Can the procedure be done laparoscopy?

Yes but it depends on what your surgeon prefers.  I was able to have it done lap.  

Mine was done lap. It was the only way my Doctor would do it. 

Absolutely it can, but your surgeon will need to make that call.  I had mine done laparoscopically.
