People starting noticing with me about 25 pounds in. Now that I'm 80 pounds out, I see and feel my bones in my body and that is a strange experience for someone that has been obese their entire life.

People didn't start seeing a difference in me until I had lost about 50 pounds. I could see a difference in clothes at about that time, but didn't really see it in the mirror until about 80 pounds.  Even now, when I catch my reflection in a mirror at the store, I have to double back and take a look, because it is an adjustment. I could see a difference in pictures much more easily.

I made sure I took pictures after surgery like once a month. I have a mirror that my husband bought me it is the size of a mirror that is in a hotel. He bought it for me since I hated mirrors. I used to go outside to see what I looked like.

I sometimes don't see a thinner person. But I try to put before and during and after pictures so I can see a difference.
