Strawberri it is completely normal for your body to take a losing break this early out and even to put on a few pounds, but don't fear it is temporary and will go away and the weight will start to roll off, try to relax, enjoy your journey and stay off the scale for a little while.

Topic: 14 days in, I am worried!
i had my 1st post op doctor appointment yesterday and my doctor says I am doing well so I was really proud. I'm getting in my protein and my liquids just fine, but the scale has not moved in 3 days. As a matter of fact, I gained 2-3 pounds. I know its early in my journey, but I don't understand how I can gain weight when I am still on clear and full liquids only. Could someone please share with me how they maximised their weight loss and if this is normal? Thanks in advance!

Weekly Mini-Goal Challenge for short term goals

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Please feel free to post your goals for this week. This is perfect for those of us needing to re-focus and/or get back on track.

Please feel free to check in daily as often as you like! Good luck!!

You are so welcome, and yes I do care about the outcomes of us who choose wls as an option for weight control.  I've only been a part of all of this life of wls a little over four years, and it is daunting the failures from these procedures.  I try to offer a few things; to all who inquire, about practices, techniques and tips that have helped me get to goal and maintain day to day.

I will send a friend request to you, and thanks.

I really appreciate your response. You do not know me but the length of your response shows you really care. It was motivating. I am a therapist so I know I need to uncover the root cause to this; something I would tell my patients to do. I have made a section in my journal to explore this. Thank you so much for you insight.
