Topic: OLYMPIC INSPIRATION!
I'm not saying that a daily work out will make an olympian out of anyone but the powerful muscles on these folks is amazing.  If a body can look and perform like these atheletes just think how much better we can do for ourselves.

Look at the muscles on these girls.  Even at over three times the age of our own Miss Gabrielle, I know I can be stronger, firmer, and more well defined than I am without pretending to be an athelete.

I'll never do this but I can be limber and flexible in my own right.  Its too late for me where smooth, taught and lean legs are concerned but under this skin I can have long well defined muscle.

I'm willing to bet these dancers performing at the Olympics have equally strong bodies.  There are many ways to be athlete level fit.  You know there are countless ways to be every day fit and strong.

Joint trouble?  Go low impact and swim.  Temperature controlled pools can make swimming possible for those with heat sensitivities that interrupt other forms of working out.  Look at the visable strength of these women's bodies.  You do not have to look like a muscle bound man to be strong.

Youth is not required.  These US olympians turned 30 and 35 respectively yet they are 2012 medal hopefuls.

I'm going to use some of these olympic pics to inspire me when I want to chose the easy work out over the one my body really needs for my personal best.  I'm holding the men's swimming, wrestling, and gymnastic pics for eye candy.  Oh so delicious.

Check out loads of inspiration and motivation.  These pics are all from ESPN.  Get Motivated!  Be Inspired!

Recovery times vary as much as speed of weight loss.  Follow orders to the letter, get your protein and liquids, walk in place to help move the gas when you're home.   You'll be healed before you know it.

Topic: RE: An email from the medical group
I have no regrets about RNY & I would do it again given all the options out there today.  VSG was my first choice and the reason I selected my surgeon.  I rejected DS because of the higher malabsorption and bowel habits; and, rejected various  band type procedures because of possible erosion issues.

Fortunately I had no limitations on which procedure to select and I was not pressured by the surgeon to go with any one wls because he could do them all.   However, the surgeon reccomended a malabsorptive procedure for my specific situation.  Six days pre op, I agreed to RNY instead of VSG.

My suggestion to folks making the wls decision is to hear the anecdotes but remember they are just stories.  There are too many cheerleaders for their wls choice and haters of the procedures they decided against.  Then add in the general fat phobics who knows someone who... and you have nothing of value.  Verified clinical data is easy to find online.

Look hard at the down sides of each procedure as much as you focus on the wl potential.  The negatives have to be bearable for life.   What is a pro and what is a con should reflect your personal likes and dislikes.

The info you have to review will hopefully be well balanced and totally frank.  Although you know what you want you may still find something of interest.  At worst, the time spen****ching these clips will confirm you've found what's best for you.  Good luck with the whole process.

You took the words right out of my mouth! Your body is trying to adjust to the changes and the surgery. You are doing really well to have lost 16lbs. Please dont compare yourself to others, i know that you are excited and expected more but it will come off! I think i lost about that much the first month too but every week, you will see 3-5lb lost if you follow the rules. Make sure you are getting all your protein in and drinking your water. You will lose it, and when you start losing it, you will be really shocked at how sturdy it comes off.

Doit girl, feel that burn!  Muscle fibers tearing & being rebuilt.  Your trainer will vary the program for max benefits without injury.  Soreness is when it hurts so good.  Real pain is a warning.

Enjoy feeling the burn.  It sure beats sore joints from carrying too much weight.  Congrats on working out.
