Do you eat breakfast & other ???
If you do breakfast, How long after you wake up do you eat? What do you
have for breakfast? If you don't do breakfast, How long do you wait
before you eat and what do you eat? Breakfast eaters and non eaters ~Do
you struggle with night time snacking? What do you snack on. How long
before going to bed do you stop eating? Do you go to bed to stop

Good Morning Annette,
I eat breakfast on occasion. Since I really don't do well with eggs after WLS I try to eat different things such as cottage cheese or yogurt. Although I am able to eat a yummy smoked gouda cheese casserole that is kind of like a quiche. Ususally I will just have some kind of protein supplement like AcheiveOne (20 grms). My day is kind of planned around my meal times. Breakfast by 9 am, lunch around 1 and dinner by 6pm. As for snacking - I am pretty lucky so far. I don't have any hunger except that "head hunger" and then I will indulge in something like a SF popsicle or some soy crisps. No I do not go to bed to stop eating - I go because I am getting old and can't stay up like I use to - LOL. Hope this helps.

Hi there,
On days that I work, I eat something light, like a protein shake, or a protein bar, or cheese stick and crackers. On days I have off, I make myself an omelette with low fat cheese and veggies in it.
As for snacking, I nibble at night sometimes. Pretzel sticks or graham crackers, which I can tolerate.

Thank you. An omellete sounds good but I don't tolerate eggs well anymore
I was trying to see if people that don't eat breakfast eat more at night. I've found out it just depends on the person. I've eaten breakfast for 3 days in a row now and it has helped me not to eat at night. Another answered prayer YEA : )

My breakfast eating habits have totally changed since WLS. My first priority is to get my 2 cups of cafe con leches w/splenda. (expresso and lots of milk). That usually takes place about 6:30 AM. About 9 AM, I'll then, eat one of the following:
4 oz. FF cottage cheese and 4 oz. SF jello OR
1 soft boiled egg OR
some cheese on melba toast & 4-5 plain almonds.

Many times I forget to eat lunch....(not good, I know). I do have a daily protein shake.
Dinner is regular food....small portions.
I usually have a low fat yogurt smoothie before bed.

Wow I haven't had Melba toast in a long time. I got into the bad habbit of not eating real meals but just kind of snacking every few hours, no wonder I feel hungry so much. I started eating oatmeal for breakfast, and found it keeps me satisfied for a long time. I also started eating lunch, and dinner and one snack in the evening. I find this is really helping to curb my night time snacking. Thank you for the info.
