Prayers needed

Hi everyone,
I know I really don't know any of you yet, but I need your prayers for my dad.  My husband and kids and I are in Mississippi staying in a hotel close to the hospital.  My dad had a massive heart attack and is going to have to have quadruple bypass as soon as his heart is strong enough.

He is really lucky that God wasn't ready for him yet.  Please pray that his open heart surgery goes well.  He has a balloon in his heart right now and several medications regulating his heart rhythmn until he is strong enough for the surgery.

Please pray for God's hand on all of his doctors.

Prayers are going up for your father. The enemy would have you doubt and would have you fear that death is at hand. Rebuke him, in the name of Jesus. Your father shall live and shall declare the glory of God, in Jesus' Name! Remember that God inhabits the praises of His people, so praise gets Him on the scene! I am praying for you, too, and the family, that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will envelop you all. Please post an update as soon as you can, so we can express our thanks to Jehova-Rapha, the God Who Heals.

Well I'm not nearly as eloquent as our dear Miss Mary but do know that I am praying for your father also and that your family will have His loving comfort!

I am so sorry your father is going through what he is going through.  Please know that he and you are in my prayers.  My prayers include hoping that your father is a believer.  If not, that he accepts the Lord as his savior. 

Trust the Father to do His best in this situation.

You, your dad, your family and all medical personnel who deals with your dad are in my prayers.  God is great.  4 1/2 years ago my husband had a massive heart attack and was not expected to live.  He survived and was able to endure quadruple by-pass surgery.  He is still living and his doctor calls him her "miracle patient." I am praying for the same for your father.

Please rest in HIm and know that He is in charge.

Thanks everyone.  We are about to go see him for his ten pm visit. Then i can see him at six in the morning right before they take him back.  Seeing him and knowing this is a family problem makes me even more sure about getting this surgery so that i can be as healthy as possible. 

God has my hubby and i doing so much and i feel like I can be a better instrument for him in good physical shape.  Crazy thing is my dad is such a health nut and not at all overweight and he exercises and eats well etc.  i guess a lot of this must really be genetic. 

His surgeon is supposed to be very good so I feel good about that.
