Friday Coffee Talk
GOOD FRIDAY MORNING EVERYONE!! Oops. Didn't mean to yell! LOL The weekend is about here. Time to rise and shine! Gotta spray those pits and eat them grits.
HEHEHE! It's going to be a wonderful day. I can just feel it. Torey is coming home tonight and I can not WAIT to see him. College is good for him and being away from me is doing him good too. He calls me and tells me he misses his Daddy. I miss him too. Can't wait to see him.
Our challenge for today is to be optimistic. Look for the good in life. Stop being so negative. People who are negative are not fun to be around and they seem to never have anything good to say about life. If you are optimistic, life is good for you, people treat you better and want to be around you more, and you can achieve more out of life. Optimism is the key to success and the key to happiness in certain parts of your life. So, if you want to succeed and, you want to have more friends, and you want to be happy in your life, SPEAK GOOD and BE OPTIMISTIC!! I know you can!!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sippin' on? I'm enjoying some wonderful Maxwell House Regular blend.
It sure is good too. Gotta love it to the last drop. After that, make another pot!!
You know I will!

For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"

Hi Randall,
Sorry this is so late in the evening. I have been back to work this week, for two days, after my surgery a week or so ago.
Being optimistic. Hmmm. That was not at all possible for me for many, many years. Growing up in a household with alcoholism and mental illness, and seeing trauma all the time, I had nothing positive to believe in, much less look forward to. It took years with Jesus, therapy, and my own recovery from alcoholism to help me develop any sense of a positive attitude.
Now, I find my joy in the Lord, regardless of my cir****tances. I look for God's smile throughout my day, so that no matter what happens in my day, I can see God at work in it in spite of cir****tances.
Boy, do I remember when my kids first went off to college. Their first year was the roughest, and for the first two kids, the best time for them to develop their adult wings. I honestly think it was harder on me than them. Enjoy your time with your son this weekend.
Have a great weekend.
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
