I saw Nichole C Mullen's sing that song live too!!! That is a great song. Have you heard "Call on Jesus"? That's a good one too. I bought the split track for "Redeemer" but some of those notes were just too high for me. Love, Dawn

Hi Dawn and Everyone! Yes - He is worthy to be praised!! Thank you my Lord! I am thanking the Lord for this beautiful holiday season! The Festival of Trees in Salt Lake last night was beautiful! I walked for 2 1/2 hours and didn't have to sit down once. Last year when we went I had to sit down after each row! Tonight we are going to a church dinner theater! It should be a lot of fun! I hope you are all taking time for yourselves this busy holiday season - very important to spend that quiet time with God! My answers: 1. Never Gonna Be As Big As Jesus by Audio Adrenaline (This is the song I love to listen to when I need a reminder of who I am not and who He is!) Amazing Grace (It truly is amazing!) 2. Brooks (I've had them for a year now - they are the best! I paid $138 for them and up to that point had never spent more than $20 on a pair of shoes. They are orthotic and now because I'm losing weight they are getting too big!) 3. I like to ebay - I have sold and bought and gotten some great deals! I am praying for everyone that God meets you at your very need! Love ya all! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Funny, I didn't see you as an Audio Adrenaline fan. Personally, I love it all!! Michael W Smith, Avalon, Nichole C Mullen, Skillet, Third Day, Newsong, Gathiers, Mary Mary, CeCe Winans, and I could go on and on. I just LOVE Christian music!! I told an athiest on this site that every other form of music serves no purpose. But, Christian music not only encourages us, but it allows us to praise God. He told us right in Psalms 150 to praise him with the trumpets and the harp. I don't know about you, but I'm gonna praise the Lord!!! 'cause if we don't do it, the rocks will; and I'm not having a rock cry out on my behalf!!! Love ya, Dawn

Hi Dawn, I know most people wouldn't think I was an Audio Adrenaline fan but here is a little secret (and not so secret now!). I was a hippie - loved my rock music - then when I was in college the Lord called me and I was saved! Guess I never really got the rock out of me and here I am almost 50 years old! Besides my son really liked them and I guess when you hear something several times it kind of grows on you. When I am down that song lifts me up because no matter what I do, God is still sovereign and that song says it all! Love ya! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Hi all, I am leaving in 45 minutes to meet with the surgeon (It's 3:15 p.m. CST!) I have a list of 21 questions. My mom said he may feel like he is on trial. I HOPE not, I just want to be informed. Also, I am feeling SO at peace. Just two days ago I was really ramped up and a lot afraid. But, the last day or so...peace. So, thanks for your prayers. You are all amazing. I know that I could not do this without your support. I also realized that a friend from another of my favorite websites is a member here!! God just makes my world SO small, in a good way. I love all the God-incidences that are going on in my life right now. It's so humbling to be a sinner saved only by grace!! Anyway QOTD: SONGS: ~ "When I Call on Jesus" by Nicole C. Mullen. This song has a LOT of special meaning for me. ~"Trading My Sorrows" by Darrell Evans. ~"To God Be the Glory" Oh, I could go on and on... SHOES: Nike! The only way to go! EBAY: Um...YEAH! Absolutely!! Where else can a mamma find 3T slim jeans for her skinny bottomed son! Blessings~ Beck

Don't feel bad, I had 26 questions for my surgeon!! I asked EVERYTHING including malpractice suits and his personal death rate. You are making a life altering decision and should be well informed of every aspect of it!! Did you get the email I sent you yesterday? love, Dawn

Hi everybody. I hope you are all having a good day. Dawn, thank you so much for starting things off with prayer. That's the way we should all start our day, and yours was just right. I am feeling so much better today. It has been a rough week emotionally for me, but God has seen me through it all. I finally decided, and this was a tough decision, that I needed to be back on my anti-depression medication. Somehow I think of it as a weakness, but I really need to think of it as a chemical imbalance. I feel like I have been surrounded by prayer. I don't know if that is true or not, but things are better. For one thing, I got my bloodwork results back, and except for still being a little anemic, all my other bloodwork came back normal. Praise the Lord! Also, my cholesterol reading was 144! At my highest weight, it was 249! Wow! I am really excited! Thank you, Father, for seeing to our every need. Now to answer the questions of the day: Favorite songs: 1. How Great Thou Art---I love to go the beach and sing it at the top of my lungs! He is so awesome! 2. Come to Me---He bids us to come and sit at His feet. I want to do that for all eternity! Shoes: Adidas---got them at Costco and they have been so comfortable. I went back and bought 2 more pairs just like them! eBay: Yes. I have bought jewelry, plates, a movie, purse, perfume. That's it for now. I am so glad we can be here to praise the Lord together for all our successes, and to petition the Lord for the needs of His people. God bless and keep you. Peg

So many Christians say that we (fellow christians) shouldn't take anti-depressants; that we need to mediate on the word. Personally, I think that God bestowed knowledge on people to have developed a medication for it. Ecclesiastes 1:9 tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. That shows me that it was by His creations that this medicine was made for us in need of it. Love, Dawn

Especially at this time of year I am moved by "Mary Did you Know" and "Immanuel" . "O Holy Night" will always bring me to tears. Recently, I have been blessed by Carrie Underwood's new release, "Jesus, Take The Wheel". It reminds me of a personal experience I had some years back. I own plain white canvas Keds....my all time favorite, two pair of Nike walking shoes and a pair of pink and white Sketchers. I've done a little Ebay....not much. Blessings, Luvitsunnyv

I sang "Mary did you know" 2 years ago in church. I was so weak from morning sickness I actually sang it sitting down. Have you hear David Phelp's rendition of it? he used to sing with the Gaithers. His voice is AMAZING!!!! Dawn
